Rules & Regulations

Campus language is English.
The Student Planner is a major means of communication between the Home and School. It must be brought to the school every day. All homework and announcements made in the school must be noted in it. Loss or damage to the Student Planner must be replaced with a new one against payment.
All students must be punctual to the school. Late comers to the school will not be allowed to enter the school campus. 90% attendance is absolutely necessary for promotion to the higher class. Leave or absence will be considered only on valid grounds.
Students who are ill or suffering from contagious diseases will not be allowed to attend the classes or take tests/exams.
In case of sickness for more than two days, a medical certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner should be enclosed with the leave application.
Parents and Visitors are requested not to meet the students during school hours unless there is an emergency.
It is compulsory for every student to wear the prescribed uniform including foot-wear. Those who wore improper uniform will not be allowed.
Students should be clean and well – groomed at all times.
a. Boys must come with police cut and girls with two plaits tied with ribbon.
b. Girls should avoid using lipsticks, mascara, eyeliner and excess of clips on hair.
Students are responsible for all their belongings. The school does not take any responsibility for any valuables or money misplaced in the school. They are advised not to bring such articles or electronic gadgets to the school.
Students of class III and below may use pencil for writing. Students of class IV and above should use only fountain (Hero) pen
Student’s participation in all extra curricular activities and school functions is compulsory, unless declared physically unfit or exempted by the Principal. Any unauthorized absence will entail strict disciplinary action.
Only Chikkis are allowed to be distributed on birthdays

Discipline

The school management has the right to dismiss a student from school for any of the following reasons.
a) Irregular attendance
b) Malpractices
c) Misbehaviour
d) Damaging furniture or equipments.
Any misbehaviour or deviation will be dealt very seriously.
Any loss or damage to the school property shall be repaired by the parent / gaurdian of the student.
Students should not collect money for any purpose without prior approval of the school authorities.
All communication requests, suggestions or complaints must be addressed to the Principal. Meeting the teachers or the non-teaching staff directly may not be entertained.
Written requisition should be made to the Principal at least one week in advance to obtain signatures on travel concession forms, Bonafide certificates, etc.
The escorts been sent to pick up their wards back home from the school should possess proper identity. The parents should give all necessary and updated information about the escorts at the school office
Students should not wear Gold or Silver Jewellery to the school. Wearing Anklets is strictly prohibited.
The note books and text books are to be properly wrapped and labelled. Brown papers to be used for wrapping.

Parent’s Commitment & Responsibilities

The school is an extension of home. Teachers and parents have an equal responsibility to create a conducive environment for the grooming of all sound personality of the child.
Please encourage your child to be assertive and helpful.
Parents must meet the Correspondent, Principal or teachers whenever they are called to do so.
Try to spend quality time with your child to know the child’s difficulty, learning style, interests, aptitude, etc
Parents have to check the Student Planner every day. They should ensure that their wards have done the assigned work. They should also acknowledge on daily basis
All books and stationery required for the day according to the time table must be sent with students.
“Reading a page a day, keeps the ignorance away” So please encourage your child to read general book and newspaper every day.
Viewing of TV and cellphone by the children have to be checked. Duration and programmes must be decided by the parents.
Parents are not allowed to be present with the students during lunch break. Send a towel and spoon along with the lunch bag.
Parents should avoid giving junk food and send healthy snacks and food to the students.
Lunch to be sent with the child else can be kept in the school by 11.30 a.m.
Re-tests will not be conducted for the students who are absent for the exams
Both parents should attend the Parents Teachers conference during the scheduled date and time without fail to know their ward’s academic performance
Parents can plan for their trips or family functions during the school holidays. The schedule is been given in the Student Planner.
Mail ID and correct communication number along with alternates to be given in the school office by the parents
Leave letter must be sent their wards absence.
Parents are requested to get prior appointment to meet the teacher in the school.
For safety reasons, wearing gold ornaments or expensive jewellery is strictly prohibited.
Students are expected to maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness at all times.
